in Cambodia, January 2005 - January 2009. Despite violent eviction on January 24th, 2009, Dey Krahorm continues to be a voice for threatened communities around Cambodia through their spokesperson Chan Vichet.
Vichet, nominated in 2008 for the Centre of Housing Rights and Eviction (COHRE) Land Rights Defender Award, has met with key Embassies and UN agencies in Cambodia, spoke at the 2009 meeting of United Nations Committee on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights in Switzerland, and most recently was invited by Front Line to the 5th Dublin Platform for Human Rights Defenders in 2010.
